Dabbers

A dabber is the hand tool used to pick up a concentrate and place it on a heated banger or nail. Dabbers differ by material and by tip shape, and the right one depends on the texture of the concentrate. Every rig sale needs one.

Dabber materials

  • Glass: borosilicate glass dabbers, often with a sculpted or decorative head that matches a glass collection.
  • Stainless steel and titanium: metal dabbers that do not break when dropped, the everyday tool.
  • Silicone tips: a soft tip on a metal handle, gentler on quartz and easier to wipe clean.

Tip shapes

  • Scoop: for loose, crumbly and saucy concentrates.
  • Pointed or blade: for sticky and glass-like concentrates such as shatter.
  • Paddle: for soft, spreadable concentrates such as wax and budder.
